Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled Integration Specialist to join our Cloud Native Engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in cloud infrastructure, API management, and secure integration design. You will lead technical solutioning efforts, drive platform architecture decisions, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • API Management:
    • Manage and maintain API gateways such as Apigee, Kong, or AWS API Gateway.
    • Define and enforce usage policies, rate limiting, and traffic control mechanisms.
  • Security & Identity:
    • Implement secure API access using OAuth2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, and API keys.
    • Ensure compliance with authentication and authorization best practices.
  • Solution Design & Customer Engagement:
    • Engage directly with internal or external customers to gather requirements and define technical scope.
    • Translate business needs into scalable and feasible technical solutions.
    • Create architecture diagrams and ensure alignment with platform best practices and business objectives.
  • Cloud Infrastructure & Automation:
    • Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
    • Automate deployment and integration processes using scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Observability & Reliability:
    • Monitor infrastructure, APIs, and services using observability tools.
    • Identify and resolve system issues promptly to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • DevOps & CI/CD:
    • Contribute to and support CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and safe deployment of changes.
  • Containerization & Orchestration:
    • Experience with Docker for application packaging and scaling.
    • Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) is a strong plus.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, SRE, or systems engineering roles.
  • Hands-on expertise with API management platforms and identity protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization technologies.
  • Experience with IaC, DevOps practices, and automation/scripting (Python, Shell).
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns, solution architecture, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.
